Beginning a Blog

Not even an hour after Dave and I had been married the comments of me now becoming an "old married woman" began, as if within the hour or so it had taken for us to get married, I had miraculously transformed into a completely different women of a completely different age. At first I laughed inside every time someone one would accuse me of being an "old married woman" because really I was still young, silly Breanne; just with a new little tag along named Dave. It wasn't until a week and a half after we were married that things began to change. All of the sudden I felt the need to cook an actual meal (with actual veggies), clean the house and buy some nice smelling candles so it smelt good, and decorate; things I obviously wasn't interested in before I got married. I started having panic attacks every time company was coming over because, my dishes weren't done, or I didn't have any cookies or snacks to serve. I noticed the largest change in myself when I started having the feelings that I wouldn't be complete without starting a blog, and by starting a blog I would become the ultimate super wife. I can now honestly say that I think there is some kind of chemical change when you get married and all of a sudden I am acting just like my mother (minus the blog part, I don't think she has ever felt the need to make a blog). Anyway, as you can see, we have made a blog. This is a way for our family and friends to catch up on our new adventures as a married couple.

Now, for all of those wives out there who have become inspired by me to create a blog, I have a few cautions first.

The things I hate about making a blog:
1) A blog title: this is a lot more complicated than you would think, apparently you can't just put "David and Breanne's Blog" it has to be something clever. After 2 days of trying to think of the cutest saying, your husband will say "how about something like just the two of us..." So I would advise you to ask your husbands for their opinions first because even though they don't like to admit it, they are really good at coming up with clever blog titles.
2) A Blog Background: apparently their is another rule to blogging, not only do you have to have a clever title, but you have to have a cute background, it can't just be a plain white screen. This can get tricky, it can take up to a week to figure out how to copy and paste a cute background to your blog without half of it being cut off.
3) Text Font: yes, this really matters. Your font has to be cute; so that when other wives look at it they say "Oh she has the cutest font! She must be such a great wife!"
4) Posting: You have to figure out something clever and funny to say about your life so that your readers are entertained. I don't know about other wives, but my life isn't always very clever or funny.

My one piece of advice to anyone wanting to start a blog, hire a professional to make it for you!
